    • Dr. Osman Adiguzel

    Biography

    Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67; following academic life of 45 years.
    He published over 60 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last even years (2014 - 2020) over 80 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries.
    Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches to 12 Virtual/Webinar Conferences in the first year of his retirement, 2020.
    Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc theses. He is also Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of   significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.



    Dr. Emin Taner ELMAS

    Biography

    Asst. Prof. Dr. Emin Taner ELMAS, has graduated from the faculty of Mechanical Engineering as B.Sc. in 1995 and then completed his M.Sc. in “Energy” at Mechanical Engineering Department of Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir, Turkey and after that, he received his Ph.D. in “Thermodynamics” at Mechanical Engineering Department of Ege University, in Izmir, Turkey.
    Asst .Prof. Dr. Elmas is an Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology at the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies at Vocational School of Higher Education for Technical Sciences at IGDIR UNIVERSITY , Turkey. He is also an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering & BioSciences at the same university.  He has nearly 26 years of total experience in academia and in industry.



    Dr. Kong Fah TEE

    Biography

    Dr Kong Fah Tee, BEng(Hons) PhD PGCert(HE) MBA DIC FHEA, is a Reader in Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Greenwich. His research effort has been focused on structural system identification and health monitoring, structural reliability and failure analysis, experimental stress analysis, fatigue, fracture mechanics and structural dynamics. He has published over 100 refereed international journal and conference papers. His research has been funded by the British Council, Institution of Structural Engineers, EPSRC, etc. He is currently serving as an Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Forensic Engineering (Inderscience) and editorial board members of several international journals. He was awarded an International Research Collaboration Award from the University of Sydney and invited as a foreign expert to the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has been invited as an expert witness and a forensic engineering consultant to industry. He is a regular reviewer of papers, books, research proposals as well as an external examiner of research degrees. He has given a short course, a keynote speech and over 25 seminars and conference presentations.



    Dr. Mohd Ramzi Bin Mohd Hussain

    Biography

    Currently he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is also currently holding the position as a Director, OSHBE, Office of Executive Director, Development & Planning Division, IIUM. He had registered as the corporate members of Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM) and was appointed as the Council Members (2014/2016; 2016-2018; 2018-2020).
    He has worked as a Landscape Architect in private practice in Malaysia and Singapore, prior to joining the IIUM in May 1999. At IIUM he pioneered the Department of Landscape Architecture and established the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons). Dr. Mohd Ramzi is active in research, postgraduate supervision and consultancy. He has authored and co-authored papers for indexed and non-indexed journal; edited, internal reviewers and external assessors for books, papers and thesis on landscape architecture, urban design, GIS, IT, urban planning and architecture. In the aspect of consultancy, he has involved in many landscape master planning, design and research project such as preparing Landscape Masterplan for the Proposed Master Plan for the International Islamic University of Afghanistan (IIUA), Kandahar, Afghanistan (Physical Group).
    His research interest includes sustainable environment and environmental modelling, urban landscape design, residential and universal landscape design, cultural landscape and GIS management and landscape planning (tourism planning).
     



    Dr. Murat Eyvaz

    Gebze Technical University, Turkey


    Biography

    Dr. Murat Eyvaz is an associate professor of the Environmental Engineering Department at Gebze Technical University. He received his BSc. degree in Environmental Engineering from Kocaeli University in Turkey in 2004. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D., 2013 at Gebze Institute of Technology (former name of GTU) in Environmental Engineering. He completed his post-doctoral research in the National Research Center on Membrane Technologies in 2015. His research interests are applications in water and wastewater treatment facilities, electrochemical treatment processes, and filtration systems at the lab. and pilot scale, membrane processes (forward osmosis, reverse osmosis, membrane bioreactors), membrane manufacturing methods (polymeric membranes, nanofiber membranes, electrospinning), spectrophotometric analyses (UV, atomic absorption spectrophotometry), chromatographic analyses (gas chromatography, high-pressure liquid chromatography). He has co-authored many journal articles and conference papers and has taken part in many national projects. He serves as an editor in 51 journals and a reviewer in 125 journals indexed in SCI, SCI-E, and other indexes. He has 4 patents on wastewater treatment systems.



    Dr. Olha Tikhonova

    National University of Lviv Polytechnic ,Ukraine


    Biography

    Dr. Olha Tikhonova is an architect from the National University of Lviv Polytechnic (Ukraine) and a doctor cum laude with international mention from Lisbon School of Architecture (Portugal). She has already been a research fellow in three countries.
    Olha was awarded several scholarships during her Ph.D. studies, including a research scholarship at Lisbon School of Architecture in Portugal, namely INFINITY project, funded by the Erasmus Mundus Programme (09/2014–07/2017); a Research Fellowship Training in Warsaw (Poland), sponsored by East European Summer School (July 2016); and a research fellowship at Technische Universität Wien (Austria), Fakultät für Raumplanung und Architektur, financed by the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria (01/2018–04/2018). Furthermore, in 2020-2021 she worked on the RIACT project on the post-doc position at the University of Porto (Portugal). Currently, she is a post-Doc researcher at CIAUD (Research Centre for Architecture, Urbanism and Design, Lisbon School of Architecture, Universidade de Lisboa) and a member of the Design & Computation Group at FA/ULisboa (Portugal).
    Olha is extensively published in architectural journals, with related expertise in architectural theory, conservation of architectural monuments, urban analysis, space syntax, and GIS.
     



    Dr. Oday Zakariya Jasim

    University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq


    Biography

    Prof. Dr. Oday Zakariya Jasim graduated from the University of  Baghdad/ Engineering College/ Surveying  Department in 1988 and received a Master Degree in 1999 from the University of Baghdad / Institute of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies and a Ph.D.- degree in 2013  from the University of Baghdad / Institute of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, and his studies focused on Urban planning by using geomatics techniques & Digital mapping and the use of surveying instruments (total station, level, theodolite, and GPS)  and Remote Sensing, GIS. He worked as a Lecturer at the University of Technology in Baghdad in 2003. He became a professor in 2020. He published over 28 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 15 conferences and symposia at the international and national level as a Poster presenter, Plenary Speaker, Invited speaker. Prof.Dr.Oday Zakariya Jasim supervised 2 Ph.D.- dissertations in the University Of Technology / Civil Engineering Department from 2017-till now and 10 M.Sc thesis and 8 Higher Diploma Projects in GIS. He is a Supervisor in many engineering consultations in the Scientific and Engineering Consulting Bureau



    Dr. Mohammad Arif Kamal

    Aligarh Muslim University, India


    Biography

    Dr. Mohammad Arif Kamal did his Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) with Honors from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2000, and secured Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) on an MHRD GATE Fellowship from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, in 2002 and Ph.D. in ‘Energy Responsiveness in Traditional Residential Buildings of Lucknow’ on MHRD Fellowship, from IIT, Roorkee in 2007. His major fields of interest are Environmental Design, Sustainable Architecture, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Climate Responsive Architecture, Traditional Architecture, Islamic Architecture, etc. Dr. Kamal is presently working as an Associate Professor at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.  He is an Editorial Board Member of many International Journals and Conferences related to the Field of Architecture and Construction Engineering. He is a lifetime member of the Council of Architecture, India, and an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Architects, India. He is also a panel member of many International Research Organizations and Professional Bodies.
