Dr. Haruo Kobayashi

Biography

                    Haruo Kobayashi received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in information physics from University of Tokyo in 1980 and 1982 respectively, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1989, and the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from Waseda University in 1995. He joined Yokogawa Electric Corp. Tokyo, Japan in 1982, and was engaged in research and development related to measuring instruments and mini-supercomputer. In 1997, he joined Gunma University and presently is a Professor in Division of Electronics and Informatics there. His research interests include mixed-signal integrated circuit design & testing, and signal processing algorithms. He received the Yokoyama Award in Science and Technology in 2003. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.



Dr. Honggui Li

School of Information Engineering, Yangzhou University, China


Biography

                 Honggui LI received his B.S. degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Yangzhou University and his Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He is a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. He was a post-doctoral fellow and visiting scholar at Institut Supérieur d'Électronique de Paris for one year. He is an Associate Professor of Electronic Science and Technology and responsible for postgraduate program of Electronic Science and Technology at Yangzhou University. As a reviewer for some international journals, he is the author of more than 30 refereed journal and conference articles. He is TPC member and session chair of some international conferences. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, and embedded computing.



Dr. Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek

Biography

                          Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek received a BSc and Ph.D. degree from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  and an MSc degree from the University of Beograd, Serbia. In 1995 she joined Institute INAOE, Department for Electronics, Puebla, Mexico, where she works as a full professor. She was a visiting researcher with UCSB, Santa Barbara,  USA in 2001-2002, and 2006, with SDSU San Diego, USA in 2008-2009, and with UCLA, Los Angeles,  USA in 2015-2016.
                    She is the author/coauthor of more than 70 journals and 400 conference papers. She is the author of the book: “Random Signals and Processes Primer with MATLAB,” Springer NY: 2013, and editor of books: ”Advances in Multirate Systems,” Springer, NY, 2017, and “Multirate Systems: Design and Applications,” IGP, Hershey, USA, 2001.
                    In 2012 she received Science and Technology Puebla State award for her research work in electronics. She is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and SNI of Mexico.
                     She is the Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-I: Regular Papers, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-II: Express Brief, IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine, and IET Signal Processing.
                     Her research interest includes Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications, and ML para DSP and Digital Communications.



Dr. Sandeep Singh Sengar

Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.


Biography

                  Sandeep Singh Sengar is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. He also holds the position of Cluster Leader for Computer Vision/Image Processing at this place. Before joining this position, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Machine Learning Section of the Computer Science Department, University of Copenhagen, Denmark (a ranked #1 university in Denmark). He completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Vision at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India, and an M. Tech. degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. He has more than seven years of research and teaching experience. Dr. Sengar’s broader research interests include Machine/Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image/Video Processing, and its applications. He has published several research articles in reputed international journals and conferences. He is an Editorial Board Member, Guest Editor and Reviewer at reputed International Journals. He has also served as a Distinguished Guest, Publicity Chairs, and Committee Member (Steering, International Advisory, Scientific, Technical Program) in reputed International Conferences. In addition to these, he has also given many expert talks at reputed organizations and International Conferences. 



Dr. Roshan Chitrakar

Nepal College of Information Technology, Pokhara University, Nepal.


Biography

                   Roshan Chitrakar, born in 1967 A.D., has earned the Doctor of Engineering in Information Security from Wuhan University, China in 2015 A.D.. He started his career as a Mainframe Computer Operator at National Computer Center (NCC), Nepal in 1987 A.D. and entered the field of academics and research in the year 2004 A.D.. At present, he is a Professor at Nepal College of Information Technology affiliated to Pokhara University, Nepal. 
                  He has been serving as (Chief- / Co-) Editor in a few journals and as Reviewer / TPC Member in many journals and conferences. He has published few dozens of research and review papers; a few books and book chapters; and a few articles too. 
                 He has been decorated by the President of Nepal with “Nepal Vidya Bhusan” of category “A” award (the highest award in education field) for achieving the PhD and “Nepal Vidya Bhusan” of category “B” (the second highest award in education field) for standing the top position in Master of Science in Computer Science in the year 2016 A.D.
                    His main areas of interest include Computer Security, Data Warehousing and Mining, Real-Time and Embedded Systems, Databases and Software Engineering, Programming etc.
