Teaching staff member and researcher specialized in the field of Pathophysiology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Iasi University of Life Sciences. Personal academic journey commenced with a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine from Iasi University of Life Sciences in 2008.The commitment to advancing veterinary science led to pursue a master's degree in Internal Medicine, focusing on intricate aspects of disease mechanisms in animals.
Continuing the academic pursuit, obtained PhD in Internal Medicine from Iasi University of Life Sciences in 2012, the research being focused on imaging diagnostic methods of gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. While abroad for three months at University of Liverpool, had the honor to work with esteemed figures like dr. Peter-John Noble and dr. Alex German.
Joined the academic staff of Iasi University of Life Sciences in 2013 focusing on subjects related to stress in animals, adaptive and compensatory mechanisms of disease and hematology.



Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam

Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam was awarded the Ph.D. in Basic Veterinary Science (Major in Anatomy) from the United Graduate School of Veterinary Science, Yamaguchi University, Japan in 2011 with a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. He completed DVM and MS (Anatomy) from Bangladesh Agricultural University. He start his career in the Department of Anatomy, Histology & Physiology, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (ASVM), Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka 1207, Bangladesh as Assistant Professor in 2012. Earlier he worked in the Barisal Veterinary College under Department of Livestock Services (DLS) as Lecturer and Assistant Professor. Dr. Islam has a significant record of research in the field of mammary gland biology and neoplasia that includes publications in a number of papers in the respected journals such as The Veterinary Journal (British Veterinary Journal), Journal of Veterinary Medical Science. In addition, he has published a significant number of papers and abstracts in the proceedings of various conferences.



Dr.Carolina Valenzuela

Biography

Prof. Carolina Valenzuela is a Veterinarian and Doctor in Nutrition and Food. She is currently the Director of the Doctorate in Nutrition and Food at the University of Chile and Postgraduate Director of the Faculty of Veterinary and Livestock Sciences at the University of Chile. His main lines of research are encapsulation of food ingredients, transformation of insects as food, development of agricultural supplements and additives. Current projects, funded by the Chilean Science and Technology Commission include encapsulation of food/feed ingredients for animal nutrition and insects as food and feed. She has several scientific articles published in Wos international journals and has participated in National and International Congresses on the subject.

Zannatul Naim joined as a lecturer in the Department of Animal Production and Management, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) - a reputed educational institution situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh - on 19th Dec, 2023. She completed her five-year graduation course under the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine in December, 2018 at SAU. Also, she completed her MS in the Department of Animal Production and Management in June, 2021 from the same university. She has a second merit position in undergrad and a first merit position in masters. During her bachelor's study, she was honored with the Dean's Award three times at levels 2, 3, and 5. Moreover, she has achieved the National Science and Technology Fellowship, which is a prestigious fellowship granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Besides that she has attended many training sessions and workshops and worked on FAO survey projects. Her master’s research was based on in-vitro embryo production in cattle and buffalo. Besides, she has accomplished several research projects from 2019 to 2023 and is now involved in some research projects too. Her research interests include in-vitro embryo production, food safety, climate change, and computational drug discovery. Dr. Sanaullah Said is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He has made significant contributions to research, clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and the development of novel vaccines and therapies. Currently serving as the Strategic Partnership Manager at Orci Trials, Dr. Sajid has previously held pivotal roles such as Head of Pre-clinical, Clinical Operations at Trials 360 and External Consultant for the Sultan Group, China, Manager COVID-19 Laboratory and Lecturer (Microbiology) University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. His expertise spans molecular biology, disease diagnosis, and human resource management. Dr. Sajid's work is underpinned by a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Microbiology and two patents (1. Development of strip test for the quick detection of B-Lactam resistant bacteria. 2. Development of novel immune complex IDB vaccine).
