Dr. Nor Dini Rusli

Dr. Nor Dini Rusli, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Agro-based Industry,Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Malaysia, specializes in utilizing agriculture by-products for animal feed. With a notable portfolio, she secured six research grants as Principal Investigator and contributed to 14 other projects as co-researcher. Her scholarly impact extends to 56 articles in prestigious journals indexed by Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus, alongside 15 in non-indexed journals. Dr.Rusli's academic prowess earned her 15 gold awards in international and national innovation competitions and a distinguished best-in-theme award. She also received 11 silver and 2 bronze medals for her exceptional contributions. Currently serving as Deputy Dean of Research, Students Development and Entrepreneurship, her multifaceted achievements exemplify her commitment to advancing agro-based industry knowledge and fostering future scholars.

Andreia Freitas studied Chemistry in the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, and graduated as MS, in Analytical Chemistry (2008) at the same institution. She received her PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2015), specialty of Bromatology and Hydrology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra. With more than 18 years of experience, she is currently a researcher in the field of Food Safety specially in the area of veterinary drug residues analysis and contaminants in food of animal origin in the Nacional Institute of Agrarian and Veterinary Research (INIAV) in the National Reference Laboratory for Food Safety.
